In 2010 we began our search for small breed cattle that a small acreage farm could handle. We knew we wanted livestock, just not sure what type of livestock we wanted. They needed to be docile, easy keeping, and eye catching We finally decided on Miniature Herefords.
In October of 2013, I went to purchase a couple of heifer calves from a local couple to get us started. It was perhaps their demeanor and the way they treated us that helped us make this first purchase. I ended up buying his whole herd as he was getting out of the business. No pressure, just take a look, talk to your wife, and go out and get comfortable with the herd. It was a great experience for us. I was so amazed at how docile the animals were. I was able to even lay on top of RIO, the sire of the herd.

JW'S DEL RIO - (AHA #42831607) aka RIO - Born 6-16-2007, Sire: J-W'S LIL BANDIT (AHA #42095398) and Dam: J-W'S #124 (AHA #42189253). RIO is a 0 framed bull and one of the most docile animals I have ever been around. He is thick bodied and very muscular. His head is amazing. He is the total package and a total eye catcher. RIO is in his 8th year of production.
SOLD - OR Tommyboy 1304 (aka Amos) (AHA # 43408020) - Born: 4-26-2013 Sire: LH Real Sirius (AHA # 42973975) Dam: CCR Katy B Good (AHA # 42636604). Amos is our youngest bull. He is a 0 framed bull. 2014 was first year in production. He has great character and solid frame. We expect great calves to be produced now and in the future.
JW'S SUN'S KELLI (AHA #42831608) aka KELLI - Born 6-19-2007, Sire: GR KING HENRYS PRINCE (AHA #42347862) and Dam: LS MISS SUN MT 6240 (AHA #19589695). Kelli is the perfect cow. She is cuddly like a puppy and loves attention. Kelli is a cow proven for the past six years. Producing champion calves yearly and without any intervention.
JW'S CHELSEA (AHA #42831609) aka CHELSEA - Born 7-17-2007, Sire: GR KING HENRYS PRINCE (AHA #42347862) and Dam: KMCC MOLLY (AHA #42211390). CHELSEA is also a perfect cow. She is cuddly like her half sister Kelli and loves attention as well. Chelsea is a cow proven for the past six years. Producing champion calves yearly and without any intervention.
ZENK 096 (aka "Z") - Born 3-26-2013 (AHA # P43517364). Sire: Krenning's Big Show (AHA # P43124072) and Dam: Zenk 3 (AHA # 43347366). Z is one of our younger 1st calf heifer's and has great confirmation and personality. Z should grow to be a 0 frame size. Z is fully horned and currently bred to RIO our herd sire framed bull. Z should calve sometime in late spring 2016.
Gracie 053 (aka Gracie) - Born 4-3-2013 (AHA # P43517363). Sire: Krenning's Big Show (AHA # P43124072) and Dam: O5's Miss Gracie (AHA # 42319276). Gracie is one of our younger 1st calf heifer's and has great confirmation and personality. Gracie should grow to be a 0/1 frame size.
OR Glory 1311 (aka Glory) - Born 3-6-2013 (AHA # 43450018). Sire: PJR Golden Eric (AHA # 42803776) and Dam: L-L Miracle's Sunflower (AHA # 42929625). Glory is one of our younger cows and has great confirmation and personality. Glory is very petite and should grow to be a 0 frame size.

Cutie is one of our younger cows and has great confirmation and personality. Cutie is very petite and has grown to be a 00 frame size. Cutie is currently bred to RIO our herd bull.
2S's LIL MISS BABE (aka Babe) - Born 4-12-2013 (AHA # 43390060). Sire: O5's SIR ALEX (AHA # 42843222) and Dam: JW's TIA (AHA # 42935563). Babe is one of our younger cows and has great confirmation and personality. Babe is very solid and has grown to be a 0 frame size. Babe is currently bred to our herd bull RIO. Babe should calve sometime in early to late summer 2015.
2S's LADY KATE (aka Katie) - Born 5-4-2013 (AHA # 43390065). Sire: O5's SIR ALEX (AHA # 42843222) and Dam: JW's ACE'S MEGAN (AHA # 42935557). Katie is one of our younger cows and has great confirmation and personality. Katie is very solid and has grown to be a 0 frame size. Katie is currently bred to our Herd bull RIO
SOLD - KENDRA (AHA # 43550775) aka Kay Kay - Born 8-7-2014. Sire: JWs RED ONE (AHA #43027961) and Dam: PEGGY SUE (AHA #42641803). Kendra has great confirmation, long back, nice hips, and cutie. She should grow to be 0 frame.
